					<description>Regardless of the quality of the defense, the offense was pretty shoddy and inconsistent.  I don't think the hiring of Shannon has the &quot;wow&quot; factor that a lot of young recruits are looking for...you don't think Leach will come onto UM's staff as an offensive coordinator, do you?
Bama + Rodriguez will probably be much more successful.</description>

					<description>On the Shannon hiring - the Canes defense was #5 in the nation last year in total defense (at least that's what I read somewhere)...and I'm pretty sure that was with a flurry of injuries.</description>
