Thanks for the article.
Nutt has alienated a large part of the fanbase..We go from being so excited to have Gus and his offensive philosphy to back to Nutt=Broyles pathetic escuse for a offense. Kids from Arkansas will nevr play for Nutt. He has lost the big recruits for a few years now. Dishonest and lack of integrity that Mr Broyles has displayed is shamefull. Unfortunately Nutt and Broyles have intimidated the local media down here and they are getting away with murder.

Thank you for this article.

Ah, while Mustain, Dick, and Emert are being talked about, what about the other QB, #15, Clark Irwin. In news reports, you see him practice with Mustain and Dick, so why doesn't he play? It makes no sense at all, but then again, that's what makes Houston Nutt famous. Not making any sense.

[...] Recently we reported on the mess at the University of Arkansas (Things are going Nutts at Arkansas). This is a program buried in rumors of dissension. Now it seems that some more of these rumors have proven true as spread-guru and offensive coordinator Guz Malzahn has decided to leave Arkansas to accept the “CO-OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR” position at the University of Tulsa. [...]

Guess it's really a mess now as Malzahn's on his was as CO-offensive coordinator at a LESSER school in Tulsa. Obviously, he actually wants to COACH rather than be the big NUTT's puppet. Lord help us

With all the talk about Mustain, don't forget about #17 Nathan Emert. He transferred from MSSU after breaking 18 school passing records and 2 MIAA conference records as a Freshman. He had to red-shirt last year, but he will be eligible to play in the upcoming 2007 year. Nathan also played for Shiloh Christian High School, so he is familiar with Gus Malzhan's offense. Mitch had better watch his rear or this fellow will sneak up on him as Arkansas develops a more balanced offense while DMC wins the Heisman next year. I think any other quarterback would be envious to be in Mitch's position of having the opportunit to QB a run/pass balanced attack. Same goes for Gus.

Word out of Arkansas on Wednesday, was that Damian Williams has decided to leave the team and transfer to another school, leaving only 3 of the original Springdale Five still on the team. Apparently, William's father was unhappy with the situation there, and called Malzahn directly to tell him his son was going to leave and transfer to another school. Williams had originally committed to Florida last February, then decommitted to go to Arkansas with his high school teammates when Malzahn got the OC job. Williams was the team's 2nd leading receiver this year with 19 catches, 235 yards & 2 TDs. He might have been alot better if he had someone who could get the ball to him more often. The other three that have (so far) decided to stay on, swear their alligiance to Malzahn, tho, and not to Nutt. If Malzahn gets a HC job somewhere else, Nutt's house of cards will surely collapse. Nutt has agreed to let Williams transfer, but no word yet on his eligibility for next year. I wonder if we have had any contact with Williams since Wednesday, and what the feelings are for the Gators now that word is out that he is transferring.
