It was a silly challenge to begin with. Did OSU students really think that they - residing in Ohio - could run more miles than people who live in Florida during JANUARY?
Average high temperature in Columbus, OH during the month of January: 36 Degrees.
Average high temperature in Gainesville, FL during the month of January: 67 degrees.
How are you going to run for distance when you are knee deep in that “snow” stuff I keep hearing about? Have some common sense, Buckeyes.

Too bad that the OSU athletic programs don’t play with the same fire & determination. If it were not for the Gators, the Buckeye fans would have burned Columbus, several times over. Albert saves Columbus, but gets no thanks!
