Seriously. If I hear one more person even MENTION the officiating I'm gonna vomit. How about people not cry after they lose. "We lost last year because of the bad fumble call. This year will be different." Obviously it was not different and neither is your constant whining. The game was close but ask anyone with a brain and they will tell you Auburn controlled the tempo and outcome of that game. I'm sorry but you guys just played a poor game of football and we didn't. Fact.

Florida's O-Line was banged up. Meyer admitted as much after the game. Urban doesn't like admitting to injuries before hand (much like Belichick, Saban, etc, etc). Plus Auburn's Quentin Groves is a beast. Once Quentin left the game Florida started running through the Tiger defense. Without Groves, Auburn will have trouble stopping the run. That will pose a huge problem against Arkansas.

Even if he is back for the Alabama game, with his injured foot he'll probably not have the push he had when healthy. This is a huge blow to Auburn's defense the rest of the season. The pressure on the coaching staff was unreal and Tuberville stated it was a huge win for the coaches today on ESPN radio. Apparently the criticism is not just being levelled from "Gator fans". Apparently some Auburn boosters can also see the forest through the trees.

I'm not that upset about this game, to be honest. Florida is in the exact same position they were in before the game: If they can beat LSU, they'll have a shot at the national title. If they can't, they won't.

The Aubie D-Line was impressive. They just flat pushed our O-Line around for 3/4. The silver lining is that in the 4th quarter our O-Line dominated; Aubie was on life support. Tubs admitted as much in his post game comments. Too bad we couldn't get that last score!

Which leads to my biggest gripe, why didn't we run vertically the last drive? The previous 2 drives we gashed them running up the middle and off-tackle. Why go away from something that works? I just don't get that last series of calls.

But, I agree the future is still bright. This year there are NO dominating teams. NONE. LSU will be a test, but the pressure is on them since they will be favored.

I don't know if the Florida O-Line took plays off, or if the Auburn Defensive Tackles were just that damn good. The center of the line just didn't MOVE. At all. It was crazy to watch.

As I told Gator Pilot on another blog, I'm afraid that by the time October 20th rolls around, Florida's young D will be good enough to slow down Kentucky's offense. Kentucky will probably be torn to shreds by Tebow's runs & scrambles. But, we'll see.

Besides, I'm worried about what 'Ol Ball Coach is going to throw at us next. Yeah yeah, click clack.

How about that nice call the Gators got on the punt catch "interference"? Can't complain that you didn't get all of them.
