HE15MAN

Tebow2.jpg

I’ve got a post up at FanHouse about Tebow being the consensus pick this week as the frontrunner for the Heisman — sorry, He15man — Trophy. ESPN, CBS, Heisman Pundit and others all say Tebow’s the guy to beat. How about that for a hell of a two year run? Win a national championship as a freshman and then a Heisman Trophy as a sophomore? Yeah, I’d say that would be a pretty good start for Tebow’s career. It’s all within his grasp.

One thing I didn’t post over at FanHouse was this great comment by ‘Sal’ at HeismanPundit.com. Enjoy.

Young Tim Tebow. The Chosen One. Superman. On course for the Heisman. It’s his to win. There’s no stopping Superman now. Just amazing every week.

5 touchdowns total against Kentucky. Four Kentucky defenders struggling to bring him down. The jump pass. The late game touchdown blast. The highlight reels just continue to fill up with Superman.

Ex-Alabama/Auburn/Clemson legendary defensive coach Bill Oliver calls Tebow the greatest football player he’s ever seen. Says “Tebow is the only player I’ve ever seen who could play every position on a football team.” That’s right, Tebow is the only player who could play every position. All 22 positions on offense and defense. Heck, he can even kick and punt the ball.

This young man already has helped lead his team to a National Championship. He has a ring. Others dream of a ring. Tebow took care of that as a freshman. Capped it off with the exclamation point TD against Ohio St. The announcers said “It’s fourth down and the Gators are bringing in the HAMMER.”

The Buckeye defensive back who stood between Tebow and a TD can tell his kids one day he was steamrolled, flattened, ran over by the great Tim Tebow. Ask that guy about the mighty power of Tim Tebow.

Onward now to Jacksonville and Georgia. Watch Superman. He’s getting better every game. Be Amazed. You wish you were Tim Tebow.

I expect Tim to win the Heisman if the team plays up to their ability. Simple as that. He’s already a legend. ESPN begins Gator Highlights drooling over Tebow. You would think he and Harvin are the only players on the team.

Although they might be the only “superstar” players.

Have you ever seen a college QB with a ripped up pigskin-sized bicep like that lump of steel on Timmy’s arm in that picture?

Bubble buster: Superman he’s not!

That type talk should cease. If it continues, Tewbow will not be able to walk or scratch his nuts by his Senior year. Every defensive player will be wanting to lay him out, cheap shot or not. After 2 years of hits he’ll qualify for disability at 22 years of age.

I thought I would puke when they showed a picture of him at like 10 years old in a Superman costume. Georgia must have had kriptonite. Florida is just too one dimensional with a QB to be the focal point of the offense.

Georgia 42, Florida 30….3 SEC losses….man I hear the pain from the Gator Nation.
