UF Finally Decides ‘What the Hell’, Launches Tebow for Heisman… PDF?
Darren McFadden’s got his own complete website with stats, figures, videos, and a personal greeting from #5 himself.
Mizzou’s rocking the “ChasetheHeisman.com” motif for Chase Daniel, which has the same stuff.
And now Florida has launched… an Adobe PDF all about Tebow.
Admittedly, it’s a nice 6-page brochure… and the stats speak for themselves. 4,000 yards and 51 touchdowns with a bowl game to go. Wow. And check the bottom right of the last page where Tebow’s passing efficiency is compared to all former Heisman QB winners. Now that’s what I call a superior quarterback.
But… a PDF? That’s it?
Tebow will probably win it anyway, but Florida’s Sports Information Department could have been a little more proactive on this front. Our sophomore quarterback shattered just about every record there is, both rushing and passing, and was the nation’s 2nd-best in passing efficiency despite throwing against the toughest defenses in the country. I think that’s worth just a little bit of hoopla, don’t you?
The worst part? You can’t find it unless you know where to look for it. Says HeismanPundit.com:

Only problem was that it’s really nowhere to be found on Florida’s official site. I pretended I was a Heisman voter looking for information on Tebow and I couldn’t find this thing anywhere. If someone hadn’t sent it my way, I wouldn’t know about it.
The University of Florida has 9 months to prepare for Percy Harvin’s 2008 Heisman campaign. I’m expecting something better next time around. Come on guys… get with the program.

I heard if Tebow doesn’t win the Heisman, he’ll get a Nobel Prize at their ceremony on Dec. 10th.

This year UF didn’t promote Tebow, the best college football player in history, for the Heisman. They better not even consider promoting Harvin next year.

Well, with football almost over, all we have to cheer is for Timmy to make a swipe at the heisman.
That and Gator Basketball. Off to the St. Pete Times forum to watch our boys play the Juggernaut of Vermont. Gator sports and beer at the same place. God must be a Gator.

The PDF is a little weak if you ask me. I was expecting a loud, obnoxious website a la urbanmeyer.com.
