The World Would Be a Duller Place Without Geno Hayes

So: after having been properly rebuked for unsubstantiated reporting by our friend Truzenzuzex, who is a paragon for journalistic ethics, we’re going to roll like Pigs in slop with some good old fashioned message board rumormongering. From Gatorcountry:
Well, I have been trying to get dirt on this for weeks, and tonight, I finally caught up with one of my best sources for info here in Tally. You will never believe who got all of this started for FSU, the one and only GENO HAYES.
There is a computer course they were all taking, and had a tutor for the athletes that was giving them the tests verbatim before they would take them. The key is he told them that they had to take their time so it would not be overly suspicious they had the answers beforehand. So what does smart ole Geno Hayes do ?! He goes in there and takes a 50 question test in 8 minutes, aces it, and walks out the room like he just sacked Tim Tebow. We all know that’s not possible, so the professor got pissed and flagged it. Low and behold all the athletes were acing it.
As one Paul Harvey would say, And now you know “The rest of the story…..”
Rumor? Yes. Did this probably happen? Again, yes. This so fits Geno “Big Mouth, Little Brain” Hayes that it’s almost impossible not to believe.
Thanks again, Geno, for all that you do!

THERE WE GO PILOT!!!!! THE MORATORIUM ON SEMINOLE SCHADENFREUDE FINALLY COMES TO IT’S MERCIFUL END!!! WELCOME BACK!!
Well, it looks like the last few years of Saint Bobby’s reign will keep pace with all of the years before. Dion not going to class, Free shoes, Dillards, and now Cheating on exams. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer school. God bless Geno Hayes and all the fodder he gives the Semi-haters.

Geno Hayes . . . what a first class moron.

We should make Geno an honorary Gator for all the pleasure he gives us. I look forward to his exploits every day.

Seriously…
Can this kid make a bigger ass out of himself…
Is it humanly possible…
What a joke…

Um, not to pile on or anything, but did you guys see this? Geno’s name isn’t on the suspended list received by a Tallahassee newspaper.
I suppose whether or not Geno actually caused the suspensions doesn’t really matter. You guys just wanted to poke fun at Geno while the poking was good. Which is fine; standard Internet protocol dictates that humorous insults do NOT have to be proven true for effect.

Uh, Fake Gimel, you do realize there’s nothing here that disproves the rumor?
Reading between the lines, it sounds like some people have confessed — “admitted wrongdoing” per the article — and perhaps some have not. Clearly it’s insinuated that the multi-game suspension is an opportunity for some to come clean on their own for a lesser penalty. I read in a separate article that anyone who attempts to go the hard route could face much stiffer penalties.
As for now, Geno Hayes is simply not on the list of players not affected. I take that to possibly mean that they are still trying to see if he’ll fess up or appeal, risking a stiffer punishment.
If it turns out that Geno is clean, we’ll post something to that effect. Hey, the kid’s gotta have done something right in his life at least once…

If any of the athletes decided to fight the suspensions they would not be suspended for the bowl game. For any player looking to leave after this year it wouldn’t make sense to accept the suspension. Just force a decision by whatever student conduct court or whomever handles this issue and in the meantime you drop out of school for the draft. Bada beem, bada boom!!!
By Keltic Gator on 12.19.07 11:31 pm
That tactic would fit Geno to a ‘T’.

Surprising that Myron Rolle is not on the “NOT Suspended” list…
