For any player looking to leave after this year it wouldn't make sense to accept the suspension. Clearly it's insinuated that the multi-game suspension is an opportunity for some to come clean on their own for a lesser penalty. I read in a separate article that anyone who attempts to go the hard route could face much stiffer penalties. As for now, Geno Hayes is simply not on the list of players not affected. I take that to possibly mean that they are still trying to see if he'll fess up or appeal, risking a stiffer punishment.
