He never had control, and it's clear that Meyer doesn't either...but, at least, Meyer won us a title (thanks Urban!). Truth is, Miami's "Thug U" torch has been passed. EDBS for the Fulmer Cup and the requatory post from anti-UF LWS but other than that very few mentions indeed... I'd like to say thanks to those that didn't "run with the story" simply to get hits at the expense of further sensationalizing this story and assuredly the Slonina family appreciates their discretion as well... How many times do we have to be embarassed by a player doing something bad enough to finally be kicked off the team - only to learn that he had been in trouble countless other times, yet Meyer chose to take the Bowden approach and either suspend him for one of the earlier meaningless games, or simply do nothing (Joiner).
