Why are all these bitter SlowHio State fans coming onto the Gator fansites, talking trash, denigrating Tim Tebow and the Florida Athletics program? How long does it take to recover from a sound thrashing in a NC game? Pick your sport SlowHio.

We are still waiting for Daniel to materialize, since he has obviously been on the VMI fan site trash talking the Cadets...but that was before UK coughed up a lifesized hairball and lost to VMI in Rupp. Impressive, since Daniel feels that UK, being unranked is a dangerous threat. If you can't win against the pre-season offerings.....it's going to be a long season...Daniel.

USC is a weird one. Of the beavers win out, they win the pac-ten. It's going to shake out weird in the end with OU going to the champ game over a texas team that beat them. very weird this year.

Please don’t Maddenise it by overstating the obvious that their only loss came to the Number 2 team in the nation because there playing pretty darn mediocre at best and FL is well I bet they could take it to a couple of NFL squads. Shootin a little high I know. Anyone??? USC???

I'm loving every minute of this season!! Though I'm a stickler for numbers can anyone figure out how highly-overrated Texas continues to rank higher in the BCS over us and Colt McCoy is still real Heisman contender?? Also how do some of these 'paid' sport writers put USC ahead of FL?? I know it's early but really, seriously, are you kidding me......does anyone feel me???

Great win, fun to watch a good ole fashion ass whippin.

VG, surprised you haven't poked a little at our UK boys and their stellar performance against VMI.

This year's defense is playing better than the '96 team. The offenses are pretty comparable. We would have to average 42 points per game in the last 4 to equal 1996's point total. We would have to allow more than 24.5 points per game in the last 4 to give up more points than the '96 team.

Go Gators....let's get some guys healthy this week and not lose anyone else!

GODAYUMMM!!! By the end of the first half I was just shocked more than anything. I was fully expecting the boys to get trapped or boondoggled, but that was just silly. I don't think I've ever seen Florida like the way they've been playing in the past several games ever. Truly we're witnessing something special right now.

PS I got the Princess Bride reference.

Peachy, unlike some of our less-read brethren, I recognized the quote from the Princess Bride. Nice job.

Also, GatorPilot, I remember a very similar stretch in 1996, where we crushed Auburn, LSU, and KY, among others. I'm not *quite* ready to annoint this team "the greatest ever" (TGE), although they certainly have promise!

You know, I hate the embarrassment of losing like that, but it was probably to be expected. You guys did the same thing to the other three teams that beat us, so thinking that we would do much better was probably wishful thinking. In the end, this doesn't change my view of this Gamecocks team a whole lot: we can still get to nine wins if we beat Clemson and win the bowl game. If we do that, we'll finish in the top 25 and have some momentum going into what is already looking like a very good recruiting class. That will have to be considered success after what happened last year.
