Thanks Urbanisagod I was hoping he might play a few downs he looked a lot bigger standing w/ Percy during the SECCG. Hope getting hurt doesn't drop him too low in the draft. CI's a beast!!!

John, Urban came out before the SECCG and said the CI will not play in either the CG or in whatever bowl they make it to. I haven't heard anything else.

There's more on Calathes. Right now, for his career, he is:

1st in assists per game
3rd in steals per
5th in minutes per

And of course, 9th in assists. If he were to stay all four years, even the school's career scoring mark is within reach.

I meant the SEC, should have clarified. If you go 3-3 in a stretch, that means you would probably have to do no worse than 7-3 for the rest of the SEC to make the big dance, depending on who you lose to. I don't see a 9-7 SEC record getting Kentucky or Florida into the tourney, since neither has beaten many tourney teams out of conference. Maybe 9-7 with two SEC tourney wins would do the trick.

Ahhhh. I missed Daniel's optimism.

If a .500 stretch knocks you out, does that mean that UK is out already after their 2-2 start?

To make the tourney in a weak SEC, they'll need to do better than 3-3 in any stretch.

Florida needs to start off SEC play hot. They have 6 of their first 10 games on the road and need to come out of there atleast 3-3 in the road games.
