Actually, I was referring to his tenure at FSU. You are correct in that while he was at LSU, we did lose in 2002 and 2004 (and also 2005), although I don’t accept a 21-24 loss (2004) as an “ass beating.”

Urbanisagod, All chaps are assless. And sometimes the cowboys who wear them. As an old cowboy, of many, many years ago, I used to worry that’s what happened to me. Then I realized it was just old age. Not that that’s any better!

I think most if not all of Gator Nation was nonplussed by the Nike Pro Combat uniform. I’d really rather not see our tradition change. The throwback unis for one game were kind of cool… marketing gimmicks are not.

And BTW; I have not seen it posted here so let me go on record as saying; I did not like the uniforms that our kids wore yesterday.

The helmet, maybe, but the jerseys and pants were totally unacceptable, and, perhaps more importantly, pathetically un-Gator!

“In terms of schadenfreude, could this have been written any more sweetly? ESPN College Gameday dropped by, not because of the enormity of the game” … not sure “schadenfreude” and “enormity” are the words you want, but i applaud the sentiment, and am humbled by the play of the gators, both roundball and football, this weekend.
