Our Guiding Principles
In the spirit of being good Gators (nobody likes a Sloppy Gator), we thought it’d be in our best interests… and yours, we guess… to share with you our ‘Guiding Principles.’
Keep it light. (No sugar smacks, cold cuts with horseradish sauce, slamma-jammas or beer bongs. Dissin’ Phat Phil’s okay.)- Never miss an opportunity to entertain you — and ourselves — at the expense of other SEC and ACC teams. Or any team for that matter.
- Occasionally, a little criticism may be leveled at players or coaches for the Home Team. Only in the interest of keeping it real, and shooting for, er, improvement, in a semi-helpful way. But let’s be honest. “Constructive criticism” needs to be left for the Friday afternoon Month-in-Review suit-and-tie crowd.
- We are as conflicted and confused about the Ol’ Ball Coach as the rest of the nation. We love him, and yet we hate him. These pages will reflect that schizophrenia.
- South Carolina will never take control of the SEC East from Florida.
- Screw those bastards.
Ahem. You get the idea. We hope ya’ll (yeah, we’re southern, deal) will contribute and comment as necessary. Oh yeah, one other thing: we don’t censor anything here except spam or something overtly awful. What that might be, we don’t even want to guess, because it can be pretty damn bad and we won’t mess with your comment. But if it meets our definition of ‘extremely, really, friggin’ terribly awful’, we’ll tear it down. Otherwise, have fun.
